Who it's for

For Belgian underwriting agencies, and for the people who work with it every day

An underwriting agency writes and manages policies on behalf of one or more insurers, and sells through brokers. Delego brings that work together: everyone sees what they need, and no more than they are allowed to see.

Which agencies

Life and funeral

What the platform carries today: policies with their capital and premiums, premium history and indexation, arrears and letters, intermediaries and their commission arrangements.

Non-life In development

This is what we are working on now, with our own rating engine. If you work in non-life, we are looking for you as a design partner: your products, your rates and your insurers help shape what it becomes.

Who works with it

The screenshots come from a demo environment with fictitious names and figures. The screens are in English; the data itself (bookings, product names) is in Dutch, as at a Belgian office. Click an image to enlarge it.

Management

You want to know how your portfolio is doing, and be able to show that your agency is in order.

  • A dashboard with policies, insured persons and annual premium, and production and lapses per month.
  • Production per intermediary, with the figure for the whole portfolio alongside.
  • A complaints register with a fixed number per complaint, and an audit log of who changed what and when.
  • Roles and permissions: you decide who may do what.

The back office

You manage the policies, follow up the premiums and answer questions from brokers and customers.

  • Everything about a policy on one record, with the journal alongside: notes, tasks, attachments and log.
  • Per month what is due, outstanding and allocated, recalculated on every save.
  • Arrears letters by email or by post, with a report per policy.
  • Tasks with due date, priority and reminder, and teams that follow up a type of work.
  • One search box for policies, contacts, companies and intermediaries.

Whoever follows the accounts

You pay out the commissions and keep track of what intermediaries owe.

  • Commission arrangements per product and per period, and the terms on every policy with their history.
  • A current account per intermediary: balance, open items, booking and reversing.
  • Booking payments on a policy, or moving them to another policy. In trial
  • Fetching transfers directly from the bank and matching them to the right policy. In trial

Your brokers

They sell for you, and follow up their own portfolio.

  • A portal with only their own policies, their figures and their arrears.
  • Changing customer details themselves, with a task for your back office.
  • Adding documents, ordering printed materials and downloading marketing material.
  • Or an integration with their own system, through the partner API.
