Every policy and its premiums, in one place
In Delego, the policy record, the premium for each month and the arrears reminders are linked. What you change on a policy is reflected in its premiums straight away.
The screenshots come from a demo environment with fictitious names and figures. The screens are in English; the data itself (bookings, product names) is in Dutch, as at a Belgian office. Click an image to enlarge it.
The policy and its list
The policy list shows what you need to choose. The policy record shows everything about that one policy.
- Filters on status, insurer, product and follow-up, with the number of policies and the sum of their capital.
- Search by policy number, name, IBAN or structured payment reference.
- At the top of the policy record, what still needs checking: a missing start date, intermediary or product, or an open complaint.
- The premium always shows its frequency: monthly to yearly, or a single premium.
- Payment details on the policy: payment method, account and structured reference, with a warning for an invalid account number.
- The journal opens alongside: notes, tasks, attachments and the policy's log.
The premium for every month
The Premiums tab shows, month by month, what is due, what is still outstanding and what has been allocated to it. An overdue month is red, the current month yellow until it is paid, a paid month green.
- The premium months are recalculated every time the policy is saved: a different amount, a different frequency or a cancellation is correct straight away.
- A premium history: which amount and which capital applied when, and why they changed. An indexation, a change of capital or a premium adjustment.
- Indexation per policy, of the capital (0 to 6 %) and of the premium, and the part of the premium for assistance.
- Booking, changing and deleting payments, or moving them to another policy with a reversing entry. In trial
Fetching transfers directly from the bank is in trial. Delego then shows for each transfer which policy it belongs to, or why it belongs to none. For now, you do the booking yourself.
Reminders for arrears
Arrears letters lists the policies with unpaid premiums that can receive a reminder. You choose the letter, the insurer, the product, the language and the number of unpaid instalments.
- By email: each policyholder receives the letter as a PDF, with the intermediary in copy where that was agreed.
- By post: a single print list with all the letters, without a letterhead for pre-printed paper if needed.
- Sending runs in the background, with a report per policy: what happened, and why a policy did not get a letter. One rejected email does not stop the rest.
- Reminders for an unpaid first premium as well.
- You lay out the letters yourself in Word: per type, per product and per language, with fields, a PDF preview and versions.
- Every letter sent is kept with the policy.
In short
One record per policy
Parties, term, premium, payment details, journal and complaints: everything about a policy sits with that policy.
Premiums that add up
Every time you save, Delego recalculates the premium months. What you see is where things stand today.
Reminders in one run
By email or by post, with a report per policy, and the letter kept with the policy.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use my own letters?
Yes. You lay out the letters yourself in Word, inside Delego: per type of letter, optionally for a single product, and per language. You pick the fields from a list, and a PDF preview shows the letter on an existing policy. Every save is a new version.
Does Delego match bank payments to policies?
That is in trial. Delego fetches the transfers directly from the bank and shows for each one which policy it belongs to, or why it belongs to none. For now, you still do the booking yourself.
Can the broker see their policies too?
Yes. In the intermediary portal, a broker sees only their own policies, with their record and their indexation, and their own arrears list.
Does it work with my insurers and products?
You manage the insurers you work for yourself, with their company data from the Belgian company register, and several products per insurer.
